Senior Instructor and owner, Jayme Edwards is the brain (and brawn!) behind Surf Camp Byron Bay. A pioneer of Australian surf education, Jayme’s been teaching surfing since 1993 when he first took Uni groups on surf camps to the south coast of NSW.  After teaching in Bondi/Sydney for more than a decade, Jayme took on the Byron Bay Surf School.  In over 30 years, he’s taught tens of thousands of people how to surf and be ocean smart, and remains passionate about introducing people to the incredible feeling of surfing their own waves (which he tries to do, when he’s not coaching!)
